And that is exactly what i was waiting to hear.....

Look at History and it will show that the US in 38-39 had one of the weakest army's in the World.

In 39 the US didnt have all of the fighter planes, bombers, battleships, small arms that they developed after Pearl Harbor.

Germany was preparing for WAR under everybodies radar. They built up and became powerful before the struck.

I disagree an invasion of the US mainland would be a suicide mission and Hitler knew this in 39. The US was a sleeping giant and would have mobilized to defeat Germany handily even in 1939.

I agree on the whole invasion and all. That would be very difficult.

But what im saying is that in 39 Germany was MUCH more powerful than any other country in the World. It took the combined efforts of alot of countires to bring them down.

The US Air Force was still using bi-planes in 38 -39.

Just to continue the totally off topic posts

This was definitely false in '39. An argument could be had that France had in fact, at least the best equiped army in Europe (and thus the world at the time). Especially their tanks of the time were highly regarded. The Germans on the other hand "aquired" many of their tracked vehicles from the Czechs and in no way were a match for the French counterparts one-on-one.
