Just about :55 in. Morales started caving him in with body shots a couple of rounds earlier, and knocked him down in the previous round with one too.

The HBO team really weren't high on Morales at that time.

Hearing Morales referred to as a kid is almost unreal.

Just watched Mathew Saad Muhammed destroy Louis Perguad with a left hook to the body, what made it more impressive is Perguad is a southpaw. Absoloutly horrific shot.

The most famous body shot knockout was in 1897, when Bob Fitzimmons sank a paralyzing blow to James J Corbett'S SOLAR PLEXIS, in the 14th round winning the heavyweight title...Most famous body punch ever landed....I side note ...I boxed a little when I was in the Navy eons ago...I was hit in the stomache often, who does'nt?,with little effect...Still in the Navy,Iwas playing touch football withsome swabbies, when a 200lb guy running full force, head slammed me in the stomache, knocking me out cold... They revived me with a bucket of cold water a short time later....Poor Jim Corbett,113 years ago, I sympathys with you Jim....

A side note about James J Corbett......About 15 years ago, at my work ,I passed an old,but well kept home in Bayside,L.I....The Street was named Corbett Place. The house had a sign in the front yard, that said "this was the home of James J Corbett,Boxing Champion"....Seeing that sign, home of such an historical legend, brought me instant thoughts of John L, Ruby Robert Fitz, Solar Plexis ko...Being there by myself, was an eery feeling of the long ago past....Never forget that moment....

Yeah, if I remember correctly this was only Morales' first or second fight on HBO. They didn't realize what they had yet.

Man Roy Jones Jr knew what was going on as soon as the punch went. The "oooooh" from Roy was great.
