    As a neutral,I have a couple of points;

    "Why did'nt Mayweather and his advisors request the style of drug testing that they are currently demanding at the outset?

    Why did they wait until after a date had been agreed,after a purse split had been agreed,after a venue had been agreed?"

    If they were truly serious about this fight going ahead and if this was such an important issue for them (as it obvioulsy is), then this would surely have been the first issue they would have wanted resolved prior to any further negotiations.

    It appears that this development is motivated by;

    Fear and an attempt to discredit Pacquiao as a valid opponent

    AND

    Freddie Roach has stated that they are prepared to have blood tests up to 5 days before the fight and on the day of the fight (after the fight).

    If the drugs that the anti doping agencies are testing for can be detected on the day of the fight (if they were taken prior to the fight to enhance performance during the fight) then what's the problem? Surely this solves any dispute?

    Mayweather came came out of retirement to put a beating on Pacquiao. The fight will still happen.

  4. Really? I was under the impression, based upon the lien that the IRS had on his last fight purse, that he came out of retirement to repay the money he owed to the government.

    they need to agree on the cut off period. So it dont effect either fighter and yet still make the test valid enough to avoid any possibility of cheating.
