It must be noted that Fedors gift and his curse is that he fights to damage and to finish. He is Pride through and through. In 34 bouts, only 7 have gone to decision. 5 of these decisions came in his first 15 bouts. 2 of these decisions were against the once impossible to stop Nog. There are other factors like the fact CC fought him defensive but lets not go into that. Fedor comes to stop you and he did it every time until Werdum. He isn't going to stand back and pick you off, he'll go into the pocket and transition between punching and grappling very well. With that approach it can make some fighters look more successful then others. He won't fight like GSP. He is almost the anti GSP actually. Werdum was almost another victim inside a minute. 25 fights finished in the first round and 4 in the second. Fedor has never fought 5 rounds! Don't forget this!
Such is the greatness of FEDOR! This is whey he is like the terminator, "he will not stop until you are dead!" For fedor to strike with the striker and go to the ground with the submission guy and be taken down by the wrestler and still come out on top (with the exception of werdum) their is no one else who has been sucsessful with this approach, NO ONE! I remember seeing a fight where the other fighter rushed fedor this guy was much bigger than fedor like most of his opponents, and fedor just stood their in the pocket and traded with him in less than a minute he had the guy retreating... thats fedor, the machine! It must be unerving to have fedor come at you, how do you stop him he has such inteligent aggression. at first glance it may not appear to be so but watching the cro-cop fight you can see he is very much in control and his awareness is second to none he ducked a lhk by cro cop like it was nothing. In the Arlovski fight he took most of the power out of most of Andrei's punches and was always in that fight even though he was completely losing... as if he knew he would land that big punch. Fedor could go all 5 rounds though no doubt I dont think I have ever seen him gassed.

yeah exactly. remember all the "Fedor is scared of Brock" talk. i so wish Fedor had went to the UFC and cleaned out their division then retired. THAT would have been the perfect way to end his amazing career
