Fedor isn't perfect but he is the best heavyweight. The standard at heavyweight, like in boxnig, is much lower.

Fedor will find a way. Don't bet against him until he loses or GSP suddenly grows :)

Well after the demise of Fedors last two opponents I don't know how to predict this. Barnett is definitely a game opponent and I am quite certain he plans to go to the ground. I personally think Barnett comes out on top. AV bets anyone?

    Predicting outcomes is silly business.

Barnett has a chance to lay on him for 2 and 1/2 rounds or so. I think he'll try and stand for a round and will do alright, but this thing is going to the ground, which is good for mma because zuffa zombies like quebecwarrior honestly think mma is amateur kickboxing.

I think it's possible. Not likely but possible. My MMA knowledge is pretty limited (I'm sure I've shown this off on many occasions) but from what I do Barnett is a tremendous wrestler and Fedor has been caught before (although he always finds a way to win). Arlovski had a moment or two before...well...ya know.

I think Barnett will actually do pretty well at the opening, mainly because Fedor will be cautious and Barnett will likely take this puppy to the ground and try to grind something out or potentially get some G-N-P goin. I think eventually nature takes its course though and Fedor dusts Barnett off in round 2.

I'll be the odd man out and predict Barnett to win this.

Mark Hunt almost caught Fedor with a kimura. Fedor isn't immune to being caught on the ground, especially to arm locks.

i wonder how much Fedor's little brother losing to Josh, then Josh calling him out after the fight will play into Fedor's attitude coming into the fight. He sure didn't like Cro Cop gnp'ing his brother after he got knocked out.

Fedor isnt immune to ANYTHING. He is human after all. BUT he is the GREATEST MMA fighter of ALL TIMES. How do you come to the conclusion that he's susceptible to arm locks because Hunt nearly had a Kimura on him? Fedor weigh's a meer 220lbs. Hunt is close to 280lbs fighting weight. Apart from that one incident NO ONE has ever come close to subbing Fedor.

imo in this match, Fedor is susceptible to being caught in an arm lock because Mark Hunt who has little grapling experience was almost able to catch Fedor with one. Josh Barnett's grapling is superior to Hunt's so i believe Josh has a hell of a chance to rip that piroshki's arm off and beat him to death with it

i'm sure this ran through Josh Barnett's head when he thought about this fight. Barnett is the kind of guy who will take a limb and attack it when he see's the oppurtunity. he lives for that kind of stuff

he knows Fedor got in trouble againts Hunt and Josh recognizes this as an opening and will try to push for and go for it. when the oppurtunity presents itself, i'm sure Josh will attack that arm like he attacked his brothers arm.

i say Monson can take Fedor if it went to the ground too. i'm a huge Fedor fan btw but when i see Josh Barnett's game...i just feel he's got the tools to do get the job done. i'm more impressed with what Josh can do with his catch wrestling than i'm impressed what Fedor does with his sambo style ground fighting

Thats some astounding logic. Would you also say Fedor is susceptible to suplex's and being spiked on his head? You think Josh might try that too?
