So, who would you like to see Fedor fight next?

Obviously Overeem is the most interesting match, but for years I have wanted to see him take on Kharitonov. However, we have no idea what Kharitonov really looks like in MMA these days. His last fight against Monson was embarrassing, but if he comes back in shape, he could still be a force in the division. I do think he should probably fight some lesser competition before taking on any elite opponents, though. Kharitonov vs. Lashley, anyone?

Bigfoot Silva is also an interesting fight, and probably wouldn't be as lopsided as many would think. Silva has proven to be a pretty legitimate threat to anybody.

Apparently Werdum is going to out for a year. He needs elbow surgery.

Damnit that sucks ass. I vote Antonio Silva then Fedor just got choked out id rather he earn that title shot agianst Overeem but I wont exactly be pissed if Fedor-Overeem happens next because ALOT worse things have happened.

I would love to see him against Overeem for sure, Overeem is the most dangerous opponent at this point. With Werdum being out for a while that fight makes sense and Werdum get's the winner.

It seems that as SF gets bigger Coker is losing sight of MMA and becoming obsessed with the money and marketing.

Fedor without a shadow of a doubt deserves an immediate rematch should he want it. Werdum is also more than happy to give it. It would still be a big fight. Werdum isn't a one hit wonder, he is a legit fighter.

Coker wants to build a rematch, put Lashley-Bautista on PPV... These ideas are money making and have nothing to do with doing what is right for MMA.

I like that the UFC makes the fighters earn their rematches but there are some fighters who deserve immediate rematches. BJ Penn is one of them, Fedor is another. Fedor has nothing to prove. He won't change, he will simply execute a new gameplan in the quest for victory.

Only Fedor should decide if he wants the rematch immediately. Some fighters want to regroup, work on new things etc

Overeem vs Werdum with Fedor vs Big Foot or Kharitonov on the undercard is the only acceptable alternative BUT ONLY if this is to put credibility in the champ which is justifiable.

I don't like the fact that people assume Fedor should get an immediate rematch. M1 doesn't seem interested at all in Fedor facing Overeem. Why didn't Fedor face Overeem after he beat Rogers??? Why did he take another fight before facing Overeem? And now with Werdum being out for a while Fedor still doesn't want Overeem. I think after watching overeem destroy Rogers with ease M1 has second thoughts of that matchup.

I agree that Fedor should have faced Overeem as he is the champ and smashed Rogers, however I'm dealing with the situation that we are in now.

yes, but with Werdum out I think Fedor-Overeem would be a great matchup and would be ppv material. I would gladly pay for that fight but what's M1 going to do...wait till next year to fight Werdum? M1 will avoid fighting Overeem at all costs I guarantee that.

If SF had any sense they would be going all out to make Overeem Fedor , its the only fight anybody wants to see in that division , **** big foot and Werdum !!!!

IMO Fedor's managemant are ducking Overeem , they want **** all to do with him :deal its a joke , this is exactly why Fedor is not in the UFC , because if he was he'd have his next opponent already lined up , and it wouldnt be no tomato can .............

With Werdum out then someone should challenge Overeem as he is the number 1 guy on paper given that he is the champ. The title must have some credibility. It would be bad if SF put Overeem in with a SECOND fighter coming off a loss. Where is the credibility in guys earning title shots from losing.

Sergei vs Big Foot winner should be Overeems next fight.
