There's nothing wrong with recognizing that a fighter who has given a lot to the sport should retire to avoid getting permanently hurt when they've barely got anything left to give anyways.
:bbbAs a Mosley fan even though he is shot, this is the absolute perfect opponent to make Shane look good. Canelo is strong but his chin isn't that great and definitely he isn't hard to hit. Shane by KO.
Shane may not be the same, But even in his current state could still make some intriguing fights. Example, Vs. Angulo, Vs. Kirkland, Vs. Margarito/Cotto winner, Vs. Williams.

Shane Mosley is my all time favorite fighter, and I will be the first to tell you he is SHOT! DONE! FINISHED! His speed, conditioning, power, and most importantly heart are no where near what they once were. Dude is 40 years old FFS. Let him retire in peace.
