I find it a joke how 17 people can think Felix Trinidad can KO the master of defense, Mayweather.

If there's ANYONE Trinidad will be taken to a decision by, it's Mayweather.

I find it somewhat humourous how people can totally dismiss Tito's chances. There was a very important factor that some have overlooked; current Floyd versus prime Trinidad. Do people have such short memories? Prime Trinidad was a wrecking machine; powerful, athletic, quick and with a massive fighting heart.

Honestly, I do have Trinidad giving Mayweather a VERY hard time, I see it as a 116-112 highly competitive close decision victory for Mayweather.

What really ****s me up about this poll not only do they totally dismiss Titos chances, but look at the Margarito,Pacquiao, Cotto poll they are giving those guys a bigger chance at beating Floyd than Tito:-( I mean when you compare the polls

Tito's size / power caues him problems. But Tito is suspectible to being outboxed. Then again, you can't compare Floyd to a Hopkins who had a size advantage and he's different kind of boxer.

If thats the case, how comes smaller men can beat bigger guys? eg. pac vs margo? Because margo's style is tailor made for pac. As is tito's for floyd.

Why would you say Tito's style is tailor made for Floyd? Becasue he's flat footed? Got outboxed by Oscar and Hopkins? Different styles, different fights. Tito also soundly beat Whitaker (a faded whitaker, but still).

Was it the schooling that Mayweather gave Ricky Hatton or Arturo Gatti that makes him handle Trinidad so easy?:rofl:lol:

Mayweather NEVER fought a better fighter

Yes watching him struggle against hopkins and oscar is a big backup. Tito is a plodder and very flat footed. Not taking anything away from him cos he's class but i feel floyd would ease a UD against him.

Castillo was a plodder and slow as molasses but he gave Floyd all he could handle. I don't think you need to be fleet-footed to give Floyd problems. Floyd can be flat footed also on defense and he could run into problems (or a big punch) standing in front of Tito.

Yes but floyd can switch on or off. Tito doesn't have the ability to. His punches aren't as accurate as floyd's. Yes castillo is flat footed but he didn't walk onto punches the way tito would. Of course this is all speculation and opinion. Tito is a better boxer then castillo but there styles are different. Rather then it look like mayweather vs castillo, i think it would play out more like mayweather vs cotto.

Comparing the Hatton fight to the Gatti fight is pretty dodgy, Hatton was competitive for a few rounds and it wasn't a schooling at all. Gatti got schooled, badly.
