How does Trinidad win this ?? He can't outbox or outpunch McCallum, in fact I can't think of a single advantage Felix has here, perhaps one punch power but what use is that against a guy with an iron chin like McCallum ?
I'm more of a Tito fan. You have to go with McCallum though, due to styles. I might study McCallum, if anyone has any fights to suggest.
McCallum was the full package and a cerebral fighter. He dismantles Tito more ruthlessly than Hopkins did. McCallum by tko in 8.
vs Watson is a classic masterclass. vs Jackson the perfect technical brawl. And the rematch against Kalambay is just such an exhibition by both men.
Tito had great power at 154. But J.Jackson had ATG power at that same weight, and Mccallum walked thru him. I don't see Trinidad surviving beyond 10 rds with a prime Mccallum.
This is actually a good contender for "fight between two HOF fighters at their peak weight where you can only see one winner". Personally I think Tito was at his best at 154, but McCallum is all wrong for him.
McCallum over Trinidad, as well as any other JMW. I'd pick him over anyone but Hearns, and that would be a toss up.
