Any more rough stuff and Saucedo is flirting with ruining his potential three-card shutout via point deduction.

    Round 9

Rodríguez is circling to his left, hunkered low, on the ball of either foot, almost tiptoed, backpedaling with his buttocks stuck out behind him and jerking his upper half away whenever Saucedo unloads on him. Rodríguez maintaining precarious balance as he plays it 100% defensively. Saucedo is the one attacking in between the clinches. Saucedo makes Rodríguez turn his back and suspend himself on the ropes after feeling a few punches, but the ref doesn't administer the mandatory standing eight to Rodríguez.

    10-9 Saucedo

    90-81 Saucedo

140 Alex's last fight was just over the LWW limit anyway.

    Round 10

Rodríguez is pulling evasive maneuvers, walked into a corner and kneading the air with light straights as he cranes his neck to remove his face as much as possible from the fray. Rodríguez blinking as he jerks away instinctively from Saucedo's punches. Rodríguez wants to hear that final bell. Lots of holding. Saucedo content to pound away on Rodríguez's hip with pendulous right hands while his left arm is trapped. Saucedo waits for the break and stalks, looping big right hands into Rodríguez's midsection. Rodríguez can't stand too much of that and leaps atop Saucedo, hugging tight until the ref is forced to spatula them apart. Rodríguez dives atop Saucedo again, bopping him on the crown with the underside of his right forearm, then dashing away. Saucedo performs a check hook as Rodríguez throws a 1-2 in ambush, grazing and pushing him aside by a few involuntary steps.

    10-9 Saucedo

    100-90 Saucedo

Commentators have it 99-93.5 Saucedo. They gave Rodríguez the 6th and 7th (with rounds 2-4 scored 10-9.5 for Saucedo)

El Pelado fought like El Coño tonight. I'd actually favor Echenique or Fredes to beat him comfortably based on their showings on this card. (though I think both still lose to Saucedo, who is just in a different class to all of them even though he didn't show much of what makes that so and fought very much against type in dispatching Rodríguez)
