No way is Ward stopping Dirrell, at least not the Dirrell that fought Abraham.

I'm seeing a very close fight that will go to the cards.

I'm going against the grain here and picking the underdog, Dirrell, by close/split decision.

I see Andea Dirrell running a lot and falling other at random moments on his way to a contraversial decision as per norm.

I think it'll be a relatively uneventful fight (and I really hope I'm wrong).

I also think the winner will be determined by the location of the fight.

I don't think ward hit hard enough to be able to ko dirrell. Now Dirrell on the other hand got some heavy fast hands. Both don't have the greatest chins but Ward is willing to get down and dirty. I like both fighters but I love Watch Dirrell's style. Switch hit with exposive power and speed.

You guys are NUTS if you think Ward is Flooring Dirrell. Ward hit a statue like Kessler with nothing but flush power shots and couldn't floor him. Somehow I'm to believe he's gonna catch & continuously hit a guy with excellent speed & footwork in Dirrell?

Dirrells chin isn't any worse than Kessler's, IMO. And it's more likely that Ward gets KO'd with that aggressive, forward style of his. Dirrell's hand speed and counter punching is the BEST in the tourney, the perfect antidote for an aggressive fighter.

Ok, badly phrased, but I don't think his chin is weak enough for Ward to get the KO. He couldn't even hurt Kessler, but somehow he's gonna knock Dirrell cold on his ass?

I don't think the disparity in both fighters chin is that stark.

    How's that?

Dirrell will win this. No doubt.

He is IMHO the more gifted fighter and I think he is capable of dominating from the outside.

Furthermore Ward and Dirrell are friends and Dirrel really needs this win - not Ward.

Ward is getting hyped extremely in here. Wake up - he won a dirty victory against Kessler and easily against talentless Green.

    Thats it.

:deal Dirrell is learning fast with the quality comp hes been facing. Also physically he overmatches ward in every department. He is faster, more powerful, has better reflexes and timing. Like you said, i think ward will get made to look ordinary in there. I also think dirrell has shown a fairly good beard considering hes faced both froch and abraham.

He has always seemed like the most naturally talented and gifted of the 6 to me. Even watching his amateur loss to golovkin you can see his natural talent in there.

IDK man, Dirrell seems more like the "natural" fighter to me, even abit faster than Ward and maybe a better puncher, and Dirrell has fought the better opposition and many can say he did beat Froch and he does hold a win over AA, but he never does it in a convincing fashion. Ward on the other hand, was able to school Kessler and Green, Ward relies more on his coolness and smarts to win a fight than his athletic ability. For that, Ward is a diamond in the rough and IMO when Manny and Floyd have moved on will be the future p4p #1 fighter. Win or lose, Ward will get better and will bet on him to beat anyone 168-175. He's that good.
