More proof Hatton is mentally weak since Floyd destroyed him. I won't be surprised if he quits on his stool like ODLH and cries just like when he saw ODLH get beat up. That was pathetic, of course not as bad as being KO'd by a ring post.

I find it strange the lack of respect Hatton gets on this forum. He's a good fighter, and seems like a cool guy. Why do people here tend to hate him so much?

Lack of respect? There's only four posters on this thread so far who had bad things to say about Hatton so far. That's hardly a tsunami of hate - give us Americans more credit than that.

If people paid attention and actually tried to comprehend whats being read......Hatton is saying that its a 50/50 fight from a fans perspective, not neccesarily his.

If that article came from the Philippine newspaper, The Manila Bulletin, then I'm guessing that Hatton was just trying to be diplomatic and polite and try to look friendly to the Filipino fans. He doesnt need to sound rude or overconfident to his opponent's local newspaper. A lot of Filipinos will read that article for sure, and it's easy to be misquoted and sound like a **** when you really werent. He was probably playing safe.

I've read some of his interviews from internet boxing sites and he's pretty confident that he'll wear Manny down with his constant pressure and welterweight strength and punching power, espcially to the body.

So basically, this dude is already giving up. When he fought PBF, he was talking about how he was gonna kick his @ss and all this stuff, now against Pac "it's 50/50"?

I don't know what Hatton said earlier on, but he's dead on right here. Most reasonable boxing fans see this as about a 50/50 pick 'em fight, and I'm one of them. I'm predicting a close decision victory here for wheoever wins this fight, and I'm betting that by the end of the night my scorecard will have no more than a 7 rounds to 5 margin for the winner.

You're right, it's just sometimes the way he's talking infront of the camera leading upto this fight he's coming across, I can't really put my finger on it... It's almost as if he's respecting Pac to the point where he's maybe a little afraid. Right now I'm tipping Hatton by a whisker but I'm going to wait till closer to fight time before making a final decision.

How the hell is Hatton known for giving up in fights when he's only lost 1 time, and in that loss he clearly didn't give up. Explain that.

In actuality, I think its healthier for Hatton to have that type of respect for Pac.....

......to be leary of what Pac can bring, is going to get Hatton that more tuned in and focused in his preparation.....

......the worst thing a bigger fighter can do is disrespect a fighters size and think his size alone will roll over the opponent......

Actually, it didn't. You said Hatton is known for giving up "IN" fights.
So before you try to pull this "you contradict yourself" bull$hit, try again. I'm not a part time boxing fan, you gotta come harder Jambo.
