Fighter who...at the oldest age...could still beat the hell out of a average guy?

George Foreman I wouldn't mess with today, even if he has bad knees, which is why you see him kind of shuffling a little bit. I'm sure Larry Holmes could still rumble. Even so-called pretty boys like Leonard, DelaHoya, Camacho would all be tough guys due to their inherent skills and athletic talent. In a regular street fight, I sometimes think the smaller, quick guys would be even more deadly, at least against the average punk. Anyways, I wouldn't mess with any retired fighter......

I met George Chuvalo a few years back and let me tell you i guarrantee he could kick ass on 99% of 25 year olds out ther(non trained). He still looks like a badass, looks much younger than his 73 years (he was about mid 60s then) and still looks like a powerhouse in good shape. He reminded me of some one that would fit in with Sopranos cast. Bet he still has an iron chin too!

I have to agree with AnthonyJ74 in that both Foreman and Holmes would be a mistake to mess with. I actually saw Holmes at age 52 training for his fight with Butterbean and he was whipping sparring partner ass! George just seems to be able to withstand a howitzer and keep coming and he still has power.

Holmes and Foreman came to find first for me. I bet Holmes can still execute a devastating flying kick from the roof of a car if the situation demands it :good

My trainer is 61....he was not a great fighter...his main claim to fame is that he was a gym rat in philly and jeresey in the early 80's, and he sparred with some known fighters "bobby chyze". Anyhow he still spars (dumb in my book, but hey) now I am 31 and have had a few fights and am ok...when we work we both kind of take it easy...but he still slips well...does all the right combos..hell at 1 percent power and 40 percent speed he beats me often...now the one time I threw a hard shot I hurt him bad....which I still feel bad about (he went hard, and I just let one go)...having said that, he sparred a 16 year old...who is a decently big kid, plays football, had been training for boxing for 3 months, and had been sparring for two weeks....he sparred mýself and another kid...still was very green, anyhow...my trainer when they sparred handled him easy, and again, that's after that kid had a few months of work in and a few sparring sessions..

The other thing is...some guys can naturally throw a pretty good punch with little or no training, those are usually the guys who are good street fighters (though even those guys, are usually telegraphing the shots they throw), but most guys, even guys who played sports and seem somewhat mascalin, often throw some pathic shots and have zero idea regarding defense.

As for a guy like Foremen...bad knees or not, once you got him pissed I'm sure the adernolin would allow him to beat down your average non-trained joker.

Foreman is still probably stronger than a rhinosceros.

Apparently, when he was in his eighties,Eddie Futch was the victim of an attempted mugging. Eddie flattened the twat, and was thankfully unhurt himself.
