A lot of Brits tried to tap into the Hispanic market by changing their names early in their careers. For example, did you know that Antonio Margarito's real name was Anthony Margaret? Or that Bermondsey born Miguel Cotto was christened Michael Cook? The reverse of course is also true. Nicaraguan light welterweight Ricky Hatton was more better known in his village as Ricardo "El Sicario" Ciudad de los Sombreros. Needless to say, he changed that real quick.

I believe that's the name Davidoff Tuamenski changed to after moving from his native Poland to the sunny climes of Western Samoa.
