    Wladimir Klitschko. Didn't think he had the mental makeup to come back from those KO losses and dominate the division with ease like he has.

    Paul Williams, he looked like a highlight KO waiting to happen.

    If Pavlik beats Martinez and fights Williams after, I still think PW is a highlight KO waiting to happen.:deal

    Edison Mirdanda looked really ordinary against Sam Reese and surprised with with as well as he's done since.

    When my favorite fighter Thomas Hearns kept fighting after being stopped by Hagler in 1985 that surprised me. He won 4 more world titles (5 or 6 if you count some of the Cruserweight ones he won) and won 26 more fights and had 11 more title fights. I didn't think he would fight after the Hagler fight.

    i would say nonito donaire. i saw him before he fought darchi and he was fighting bums and he got a title shot just because his brother loss to darchi... we all know what happened next

    Arthur Abraham. I thought he had a suspect resume and felt he lost the first Miranda fight. He has smoke everybody since and I love to watch him fight. Turned me into a fan.
