Because you brits tend to always overrate your fighters and athletes in general and when they lose haters come out in full force. Stiff boy is not as bad as a lot posters make him be, but he is not great either , he was never more than a poor man’s wlad and you brits thought he was a better version of Ali.

He is on juice and I’m sure he is allowed to juice in UK, he is stiff, robotic and flatfooted, his chin isn’t great and he also has low boxing IQ , but I think he will beat Ruiz in rematch and his fights with wilder and fury are pretty much 50/50 if in UK .
In UK I would favor him over any other heavyweight , not because he is so much better than anybody else , but because corrupt british referee, judges , TUE’s ( permit to juice) make him much better than he actually is and you need a KO to get a draw with him in UK.

Did you see the physical specimen he lost too? 267lbs of pure blubber, and he just let that blob walk him down and beat him senseless?!

Sweeping statement. I'll gladly admit to supporting Brits but I'm far from uncritical. Quite the opposite in fact.

I've followed AJ from the Olympics (2012) and I've always said he looks like a slightly tougher with better finishing instincts version of Bruno, with all the flaws that implies.

I have also made it clear he got off the hook in miracle fashion against Wlad and that Wilder would likely KO him in 2 rounds if they ever met.

Fury has great skills and reflexes but infuriates me by not torqueing his punches. I also think he ducked Wlad in the rematch and stands a decent chance of getting KOd by Wilder if they fight again. (that said I think he is the best HW around by some metrics).

It’s the real mark of a loser in life to take so much joy in someone else’s downfall. Jealous, beta males.

Before Ruiz, Joshua had one of the best run of wins in the sport, if not the best. Put some respect on his name.

He has the best CV of any active HW … by some distance

Criticism after a loss is often in direct proportion to the hype prior....

AJ fanboys having breakdowns on forum because their hero gets criticized on a forum

Didn't see the op or anyone crying about the multiple blind hatred threads criticizing and mocking Wilder daily all year round.

That's fair game, but as soon as you say give justified crtiticism towards a fighter who actually quit and lost, then we should ponder and reconsider our actions

I have many people from all walks of life approaching and informing me how pleased they are to see Joshua lose, simply because they couldn't tolerate the hype which was above his actual ability. He was talked about as if he was an ATG that already cleaned out the entire HW division.

It's inevitable there is cause for celebration that we don't have to listen to deluded overzealous fanboys talking about mythical match ups where he is beating legendary fighters with ease.

I don't see many slobbering fanboys around here. It's that simple. AJ was knocked out by a good fighter with a good style for countering him on a night where AJ looked seriously off (not making excuses or taking anything away from Ruiz because he deserves all his praise).

Let's put it another way, name the 5 best fighters Wilder has on his CV, win or lose:

    For AJ I'd go

    Whyte
    Wlad
    Parker
    Povetkin
    Ruiz Jr

Speaking of strawman arguments, I would love to see the message where a poster said their dad would beat Joshua?

And while you're at it @LeeD1982 show me the threads you made where you cried in Wilder's defense for all the daily hate threads that get posted on here, since you cite you would do the same for any other fighter?
