Is that the same thing people get shot into their hurt knees or am I thinking of something else? Nevermind. Just remembered it's cortisone
Ali later in his career and Foreman in the comeback stood between rounds. Angelo Dundee thought an older guy would waste less energy standing than getting up and down. You can lean on the ropes.
Foreman was a big dude and he was old. I think think it was an energy saving tactic. Foreman jokingly said something to the effect of imagine being exhausted from boxing, then sitting down, you may not want to stand back up. If you ever workout hard then take a rest, sometimes getting back up does take some effort. Better to save that energy for the fight.
I dont care about sitting or standing. What I do hate is the cold water on my neck and back in between rounds. Had I had a gun I would have shot my trainer more than once. This feeling is disgusting. My trainer said that people who dont sit they do it to **** on the other guy and to play mindgames. "Look at me, I'm not tired, you cant do nothing to me". Does it work? no freaking clue.
My version of the Superman punch was a little different to the more common version thanks to my ability to launch myself off the stool
