Yeah, I think that Duran is rated just right at 135, considerably underrated at 147, and significantly overrated above 147.

    That's a reasonable comment.

I am finding Joe Frazier to be criminally underrated as of late. Despite his size, style and physical deficiencies, he had an extremely impressive stay at the top of the division, including what is arguably the greatest victory in the division's history.

Georges Carpantier is the big one for me.

I also think Marcel Cerdan gets way overrated.

    Sorry the French.

I agree with this pick, but one observation must be made.

The main limiting factor, was his decision to retire, at his absolute peak.

I'll say Thomas Hearns, for the hell of it.
His greatness is based on moving around weight divisions beating good fighters, but ...
He was never the champ at welterweight.
He was destroyed in 3 rounds at middleweight by the champ.
He lost to Iran Barkley twice, once at 160, once at 175.

His legendary status at 154 is based on beating Benitez and Duran, who were smaller guys and likewise squeezed out of welter and middle by better fighters too, like him refugees from SRL and/or Hagler domination.

Maybe I underrate his win over Virgil Hill .... ?

Thomas Hearns was a GREAT FIGHTER, a VERY GREAT FIGHTER, in my opinion, but he's clearly the least great of the "Fab Four".

I think people get a little over their skis on him. He is a great, no doubt. But people ranking him as even a Top 20 All Time heavyweight are just high.

Considering his level of performance at those weights, it's very possible.

I think Ken Norton is slightly overrated. He got completely bombed out against the big punchers and lost to the elite boxers outside of his razor close series with Ali.
And I love the way he fought the way he winged his punches. I just think he tends to be overrated.
Young could of gone either way as for Holmes I thought Holmes had it in bag by 15th
