    Juan Manuel Marquez got hurt and dropped in most of his big fights but always bounced back to either win by KO or make it to the final bell.

    Matthew Saad Muhammad immediately jumps to mind. Seeing him reeling around drunk so many times only to win is the definition of recuperative powers.

    Sanchez had a cast iron chin, 2 fights with Lopez, Azumah Nelson and Laporte and not a wobble but early in his career he was hurt against Rosalio Badillo. Check from 1:40 m mark:

    We saw Evander’s recuperative powers in the Bert Cooper fight. He looked exhausted at a couple of points in the Qawi fight at cruiser but dug deeper to find a new level. Not to mention coming back from what seemed to be a career-ending heart condition vs. Moorer to rise to new heights yet again.
