He did gas a bit. Again, probably more a pacing issue than anything but he did fade in bouts.

Did he fade against Tyrell Biggs ? Razor Ruddock ?...I think we’re forgetting how badly he was cut against Holyfield

I wouldn't necessarily say young foreman had a natural problem with stamina. He gassed against Ali, but he was throwing full power shots for 8 rounds straight. I think it was less due to poor stamina and more due to an unwillingness to quit or be outdone on george's part.

Mike Tyson had bad stamina due to his asthma

in his prime it didn’t matter too much but from 1990 on you could see his tank emptied quick

I think the only two times I can remember him gassing (while in his prime) are Eddie MM and Saad I. One of which was after a clattering of body punches from an ATG talent IMO, and the other was in an ATG war with a huge puncher. Pops was young in that one too.

Vs Galindez and Parlov, he showed he could maintain his power and workrate into the late rounds.

I think we would all be hard pressed to find a championship level fighter that faded 100% of the time. I'm simply saying that stamina was not a strengh of his. Most would agree that the longer a fight lasted the less effective Tyson became. Is that true in every fight? Of course not but it is certainly true in fights against the other two top fighters from his era in Holyfield and Lewis. He without question became less dangerous and explosive the longer those fights went on.

I agree with you...In terms of stamina ...Mike Tyson is not on the same level as Rocky Marciano or Joe Frazier

De La Hoya gassed in big fights .. surprising too but more than once he lost steam toward the last third of big bouts ...

Those are both excellent examples of what I was trying to say. Rocky and Joe had excellent stamina and were actually more dangerous to opponents the longer the fight went. Tyson was the opposite. He was at his most dangerous at the beginning of fights when his speed and power just overwhelmed guys.
