He lost wide to Williams and Quillan. The Vazquez and Simon fights were close.

The only reason I can think is that single punch first round KO by Nunn keeps counting against him. Hard to erase that from people's memories. Michael Spinks suffers from the same issue.

Your disrespect for fighters is embarrassing for someone who appears to have an interest in boxing.Do you realise how exceptional you have to be to even get in a ring at that level, compared to the ordinary guy ?

Which to me seems unfair to them. I think it should help the winner, but guys like Kalambay or Spinks should not be remembered for one fight after all the great wins they had.

Oh yeah, it's undoubtedly harsh and I don't agree with it, but it is what it is I'm afraid.

Holyfields Resumee IMO isn't praised enough. From 1986-2003 he fought enough killers for 3 hall of fame careers and he did it for the most part with no easy fights in between.

He took on one big tough motherf... after another, written off as finished and shot a bunch of times but came back Everytime with not an ounce of apprehension to be seen in his performances.

The most Fearless warrior among the last generation of truly great HWs.

I never watched it. I think it was competitive with the knockdowns being the difference. Winky made the hof so I wouldn't say he's underrated.

Yeah I saw the highlights, I think it was in France way back. Yeah he made hof so maybe he wasn't underated.
