Even Tyson and Rocky made use of their mades. Tyson would triple jab while coming forward in his rise to the top (something he got away from as part of his regression). Rocky would constantly be pumping the jab or feinting movement with his lead arm. If they tried to counter his feinted jab, he would roll and come over with his own over hand right.
I'm 6'1" and I have t-rex arms, i learned a long time ago that the jab would be my downfall because even people like 6" shorter than me have longer arms. I barely use my jab.
If you don't have a jab then don't expect to go anywhere in boxing. Rocky Marciano is an exception. You aren't Rocky Marciano.
