Luis Resto vs. Billy Collins Collins never fought again after the beating he got by Resto with the padding removed from his gloves by Panama Lewis.

Michael Spinks vs. Mike Tyson Feet twitching KO's are not a good thing

Mike Tyson vs. Robin Givens She took his manhood on national TV.

Hamhead vs. Barrerra Hamhead fought 1 more time and hung them up.

Carlos Monzon vs. Tony Licata Tony was a local favorite and after the Monzon fight he was never the same.

I immediately thought of Meldrick Taylor vs Julio Caesar Chavez, though Terry Norris certainly helped make that so in Taylor's ill-advised move to 154.
Mark Breland vs Aaron Davis (ironic because Taylor who I am saying was essentially ruined post-Chavez 1, boxed beautifully against Davis after this fight)
Andrew Maynard vs (don't laugh) Mike Sedillo -- he would lose to Czyz two fights later, he would fight for a long time after that, but I think Sedillo took something out of him
John Tate vs Mike Weaver (just re-watched that fight...Tate was so far ahead...and it all went out in an instant)

No one ruined Tyson. Tyson just has a hugely deficient mental and emotional stability and sensibilities. He was never going to be on top of his game for a whole career-span. Even today he is still haunted. Tyson ruined Tyson, and it was totally in the script.

Tito vs. Vargas is definitely the classic example.

But I want to mention Foreman Vs. Ali. MAy be didn't ruin the career. But Foreman's punches definitely left a mark on Ali's brain.
