    Heavyweight:

    Johnson vs Dempsey
    Dempsey vs Louis
    Louis vs Ali
    Ali vs Tyson

I would like to have thrown in Marciano, Liston, Foreman, Holmes, Lewis & Wlad....but with only 4 measurables this is where I would choose to go.

I guess if I wanted less emphatic data on individuals, and hoped that the broader test of eras might be accurate or at least imformative

    Johnson vs Lewis
    Louis vs Ali
    Liston vs Wlad
    Dempsey vs Holmes

    Interesting choices.

No curiousity as to how a prime RJJ would do against a great LHW ?

I am clearly not as high on RJJ as others are at LHW...At MW/SMW I think he is a monster!

He was also formidable at LHW, as dominant as any LHW I can recall.

Thing is, there were no GREAT LHWS around to test him to the exterem.

So there are questions of how he would fare against Foster and Spinks and Moore and such.

For me there is not really as much of a question as an answer (my own opinion of course), and that answer is not very well. I don't rate SRR nearly as high as most do at MW either, while I think he is near unbeatable at WW. I have never been sold on RJJ against high caliber LHW opponents...I am fairly certain that I am in the minority and that is cool...either way it is only the diversity of opinion that makes this forum worthwhile....so we will have to agree to disagree in evaluating Jones jr. among the other ATG LHW's.
