Any fights that you can think of where two styles just didn't go well together, both are neutralized from doing anything significant, neither fighters couldn't impose themselves over the other, and the fight itself resulted into a rather dull, ugly, boring, overly cautious affair overall regardless of the judges scorecards?

Shakur Stevenson vs Edwin De Los Santos comes to mind.

Marlon starling vs Michael Nunn was one of the most boring fights I ever watched

John Riel Casimero vs Guillermo Rigondeaux is another fight. One guy running away, unwilling to engage and not counter punching enough. The other guy chasing, missing punches and can't cut the ring off. Absolutely dreadful fight.

Leonard vs Benitez to some extent?

Ray’s offence was nullified more than it ever was or ever would be by Wilfredo’s own brilliant defence.

Ultimately, aside from an overall edge in skill, Ray’s higher work rate won the day. Some might not have found their fight exactly exciting but it was a terrific chess match at the very least.

All this just IMHO of course.
