Froch against Kessler. Froch came off as an arrogant ass to me. He showed great fighting spirit and heart that night. In the interview afterwards he was classy in defeat.

I actually sat back and realized how many good fights Froch has provided over the years and rooted for him against AA, and will against Bute.

    Felix Trinidad vs Bernard Hopkins.

I still remember exactly how I felt watching that fight and how amazed I was that Trinidad was getting outboxed and outfoxed and how he had absolutely no answers. I was almost certain that a turn around was imminent then came the stoppage. I immediately became a fan.

Wladimir Klitschko vs Sam Peter I

I initially was skeptical over Wlad, as there was such a concerted effort to paint him as the next great Heavyweight Champion. I was skeptical because Guinn, Mesi and Williamson were also being painted in the same brush and truthfully I was never really impressed with any of them. He almost won me over in the Mercer fight but then came Sanders. Then Brewster. At that point I thought he was a lemon. The Peter fight impressed me; while Wlad was clearly the more refined fighter his poor durability and inability to handle pressure made this fight all the more compelling. He persevered, and late in the fight he showed poise. I then realized then that he was a great fighter in the making.

    Ricky Hatton vs Kotsya Tszyu

I thought Hatton was another hypejob but he made Tszyu quit. I think the fight taking place in Manchester also influenced me because by the 7th and 8th I found myself rooting for Hatton.
