When Max Schmeling was beating up Mickey Walker he threatened to resign if the reff didnt stop the fight.

He was afraid he might kill Walker.

Was the single, dumbest match-up of the 90's?

A sterioded-up lightweight against a prime ATG Super-Middle. What the **** were people thinking buying that fight?

Holmes vs Marvis Frazier- it got so easy for Holmes.....Holmes held is left glove to Frazier's head, and looked to the ref everytime he unloaded a right hand.............Holmes must have turned to the referee about 3 or 4 times after landing right hand shots.....in disgust, seeing that the ref was'nt going to stop it, Holmes just took off landing right after right until the ref finally stepped in.

JC Chavez vs Marty Jakubowski-Chavez toyed with Marty for the first few rounds, then he laid down the thunder......at about the time Marty was ready to go, Chavez turns to the ref and asks him to stop it.....like the Holmes-Frazier fight, the dumb**** ref lets it go on.....Chavez digs a few body shots and then just lets his hands go to Marty's head at less than 50% potency......afterward, Chavez felt terrible....stating that the kid was overmatched and I signalled to the ref to stop it because I did'nt want to badly hurt Marty in front of his family who was in attendance.
