I agree. I haven't seen all of Roy's fights, but how often did he showboat against a once great fighter that was utterly shot? Jones is a legend and an ATG and he would have wrecked Calzaghe's **** in his prime and that ****er has the nerve to stick his chin out and act a **** when Jones is basically a walking corpse and was taking a beating. Calzaghe is ****-blowing ****-hat and I hope he gets syphilis.
No tears ,but watching Ali v Holmes on closed circuit was pretty dispiritng, and a long quiet ride home for my friends and myself.
Tears of joy after Ali beat Foreman. Tears of sadness after he lost to Holmes. Felt really sad after Johnny Owen's last fatal battle. Same when Michael Watson was hospitalised.
A shell of the great Joe Louis , being ko,d by Marciano, was so sad for me.Louis had class and dignity, and was so loved and respected in his prime. Truly the greatest without the hype.... Burt Bienstock
Post of the thread, round of applause for that man there :happy The two that spring instantly to mind for me are Foreman V Moorer, seeing the old fat bloke praying in his corner after doing that was very emotional I think. Tyson losing to Danny Williams was awful to watch too, the first time Tyson ever lost to a truly **** fighter, not good. I shed a tear when VITLAY quit against Byrd too, think I might have pissed my pants as well.
Carl Froch vs Andre Dirrel. A tear turned to tears when I remembered that I had skipped out on going out for my birthday to see that fight.
dave boy green being pulled out of his last fight with reggie ford.green was by then, shot and his manager made the correct decision in stopping the fight and making green retire. i wasn't in tears but watching him fight without much punch resistance was still sad
