I'd have to disagree with all of that. Wanderlei still has a chin. He just took a brutal spinning heel kick straight to the jaw from Cung Le exactly like the shot that laid out Terry Etim last night. Cardio wise he battled rich Franklin and Michael Bisping all three rounds non-stop. He just won his last fight. Holds a win over top middleweight contender Michael Bisping. Of course he's in a state to fight Belfort especially considering their history. Beating Wanderlei doesn't help Belfort - but coaching TUF Brazil does help Belfort. The UFC picked the two Brazilian legends on their roster to launch the inaugural international edition of TUF and rightly so. Belfort isn't being considered for a title shot with Sonnen and Munoz in his way at present. This gives him something to do.

 

Would really like to see Aldo defend against the Korean Zombie. Would make for a great showcase of Aldo on Fox.

To be fair, the old Vitor defeated the old Wanderlei back in the day as well. Vitor vs Belfort is just a bad stylistic match up for Wandi - Vitor's hands are too fast.
