Neil Jones Jnr is the director and the man behind the project. When i was a member over on Doghouse he used to post there giving us updates on the film. Hi guys, Bigmark dropped me a message saying there was a thread about the film, so though I'd come over and introduce myself. I'm producing and directing the film. I read an earlier poster mention the film had been delayed, which is true, however the film is back on track and we are filming the major fight sequences in April. The film is set for it's premiere at the WBC Night of Champions on July 29th at the CIA in Cardiff. 100 World Champions will be there, for more info here's the link: http://wbcnightofchampions.com/risen.php In regards to whose in the film, boxing wise the following world champions have filmed so far: Alan Minter, Enzo Maccarenelli, Steve Robinson, Jane Couch, John H Stracey, Richie Woodhall, Glenn Catley, Tim Witherspoon, Leon Spinks. We're set to film with a few more champs in April these being Markus Beyer and Robin Ried, hopefully I can confirm more shortly. On the question of Barrera he is no longer playing Saldivar in the film, however I have just returned from Mexico City and am pleased to say that Eric Morales will be playing the part of Saldivar. Thanks for the replys chaps. In regards to who are the most challenging, to be completly honest all the ones I've worked with have been very professional and easy to work with. Enzo and Richie particularly are very comfortable acting. The film will get a wide release, for details to follow. Anyone who wants to be in the crowd for the fight sequences can do, we don't charge a penny for this, though you will be asked to come in period costume. More details to follow Cheers N
