quite surprising. The oddmakers initially had this one as not so onesided. I actually got 2/5 odds on Pacquiao.
btw i just want to say that its impressive to see a guy fighting 7 divisions above the weight he started his pro career at and still being a heavy favorite.
Well, I'm Pinoy (or Filipino, to most non-Filipinos), I see Manny taking it either by KO or UD. He will soon be a 4-weight division champion.
Nine votes for Diaz, damn he's underrated as hell here. I know a few people that give him a very good chance simply because it's Pacquiao's first fight at the weight.
I'd say Pac is not as properly conditioned as he was when he fought JMM the second time. Nor was he close to the condition he had when he first trounced MAB, and EM twice. I figure Pac will start out well enough but will gradually fade as the fight wore on while Diaz looks to get stronger. For a while at least. Still, Pac's superior firepower will pull him through for a comfortable points or late-round TKO win.
He had to starve to make weight when he fought JMM.. I believe he'll be in way better condition for this fight..
Just another tip . . . you people might have forgotten that Diaz used to fight at 140. A total of 27 fights. Just thinking you might over looked this factor.
It'll be interesting to see if Pac gets tired in the late rounds. Diaz will try to lean on him for sure.
I'm not much concerned about the weight. It's the length of training I'm worried about. Pac went to camp about three weeks later than Diaz did. And that's not counting the conditioning Diaz had before going to camp.
yeah diaz should go all the way. he's a tough nut. pac should win with his pace and speed. i thought morales beat diaz tbh.
