Considering the scoring system doesn't account for being "out-landed", but it does account for Clean effective punches, I'd say it is definitely a debatable point. Max Kellerman, and all 3 judges agree, as all 3 had the round for Ward, Max Kellerman giving almost the exact reason I gave for why that round belonged to Ward as well.
I had Kov winning both those rounds and the fight still ended 114-113 so not sure what youre point is. Not sure about anyone else but i wasnt arguing those rounds at all.
He was talking about me, I gave Ward Rd 1, remember, and I definitely give rd 10 to Ward, I can see where both can be given to Kova though.
Had to revisit this, because it's not true. Judges will not usually look at the more punches, but the more telling punches, the cleaner ones, fighter A. could land 25 touch jabs, while fighter B. lands 1 counter left hook, that lands square, and visibly hurts that opponent. Who in your opinion gets the round. Based off your logic in what I've quoted, you're saying fighter A. should win it, "because he landed more". When in actuality, 9 out of 10 judges will probably score the round for fighter B. for that 1 left hook.
Ward fans go out of their way trying to prove it's not a robbery, just a another bad decision going the way of the home fighter. Kinda tells the story here.
Soon the narrative will be how Ward won easily and Kovalev's only round was 10-9 2nd because Ward kept it close aside from the questionable KD. This will be their lynch pin rationale for Ward avoiding the rematch clause. The rematch is legally binding but Ward is the Murican child of privilege chosen for greatness so he will take his case to court and some corrupt civil judge just like the boxing judges will favor Ward in a court of law, allowing him to get out of the rematch he signed for and all you Wardo's will go right along with the B.S. because it fits you agenda and because you spun the narrative on how Ward so easily won the first fight.
Or, they go out, rematch. Make a lot of money, and 2 great fighters have a 2nd great fight. Close maybe, maybe not. It will be however a treat for the fans. Well us real fans anyway. All of you "Kovalev was robbed" fools I have my doubts about!
I kinda doubt If the rematch is happening. This first fight tanked financially. Ward got beat up regardless the score cards said. How on earth he is going to accept less than 5 million is the question. As I said on another thread, kovalev is robbed 3 times.
It's contractually required as long as Kovalev and Main Events wants it to. Which they have already said they do. You're not really getting a lot right here, are you. lol
