If there was any dubiety regarding the stoppage, Groves would have complained about it. The fact that he didn't even mention it should tell you something.

It was about as obvious a stoppage as you could ever see.

Wow. I can understand supporting Groves after that first fight, but he was in real trouble last night.

He went down semi-conscious, his gloves still up around his head, he had no idea where he was for a few seconds and his left leg was underneath his body. He fielded a clean, fully rotated right-hand with his chin and you guys want him to get back up and carry on?

    Bizarre.

If his leg was twisted then you give him more time to get up. Not kneel down on his bent twisted leg. Thank god you're not a doctor

If Groves was conscious would he have gone down with his hands in front of his head and his leg underneath his body?

    C'mon man.

You girls ever been knocked down before? Just because a fight goes down and doesn't attempt to get up a split second later doesn't mean he was KO'd. You have a 10 second count. That means you have 10 seconds to get up to your feet. Not 2 seconds. TEN!

Watch the KD in real time.

Groves hits the canvas at 31 left in the rd, and the ref stares at Groves eyes bending over him, then begins to crouch and waves it off at 26. 5 full seconds of NON MOVEMENT before Groves comes to, realizes whats gone on, and jumps up, staggering I might add, and finally makes it to his corner where he cant hold the mouthgaurd in.

Perhaps the ref though it wise not to end up with a Mago type situation on his hands like theyve got in NY right now.....the ref is afterall from NY.:think

Groves couldn't get up when the ref stopped it and he was completely out of it when he was on his stool. If he had somehow managed to regain his feet, it would have been an absolute disgrace if the ref had allowed it to continue.

Groves was out as the ref started the count. The ref got to about the count of five and Groves was laying there dead, eyes rolling in the back of his head. The ref figured this guy is badly hurt lets get him attended so, he dispensed with the rest of the count. Coincidently at the moment the ref waves the fight, is exactly the moment Groves REGAINS CONSCIOUSNES. He stumbles up in a stupor and has to be assisted to a stool as his mouth piece falls out of his mouth and has to be given oxygen.
Yet he could have stood there and survived with Froch tearing into his ass some more?
I think it was a good stoppage.
