Still absolutely over the moon about this. Have even changed my Twitter picture to Fowler grimacing on the floor.

Not surprised by how Folwer thought. Fairly robotic, loads up too much and reliant on power that isn't as good as he thinks it is. I am surprised by Fitzgerald though, didn't think he had that in him. I fancy him to beat Cheeseman (would still back Fowler too as well, actually - styles and all that).

Well im scouse so not really a factor for me ha! That in itself is a **** reason though mate. I like both as boxers and alright as people but everyone has flaws, at times scott come across as a bit of a helmet too. I honestly think half the people have just be swept up in the trend of "Fowlers a c*nt" and gone with it. As i say some of the stuff is a bit cringeworthy but seems way over the top the reaction to me

 

I think Fowler could win a world title but he must learn to relax his upper body movement and mix up his shots and stop loading up

 

Not so sure myself. He can and likely will improve but I just don't see a world class fighter.

 

Agreed. Not enough of a reason to dislike somebody just because of where they’re from. Brilliant city, Liverpool.

 

Was made up for fitz but honestly can't see either getting to world title level (though you never know these days).
Fowler looked to be struggling after 4 rounds or so and at 28 he's no spring chicken.

There's a good few domestic opponents for both to make some decent money though.

 

Fowler is way too cocky for somebody who has done nothing in the sport, he badly needs this loss to give him a reality check or he’s going nowhere. His gas tank looked absolutely terrible for somebody who apparently trains so much, that will cause him problems. I don’t think any of Fowler , Fitz and Ted will be world champion.

 

Agree mate - People definitely got swept up. Ultimately overall Fitzgerald came across better - him being the big underdog helped too. Great fight though !!
