Yes, Wlad's subtle skill of being much bigger than 90% of his opponents is something more fighters need to learn in the gym.

Actually I agree and disagree with Wilder.

Some people are way too harsh for him, he's very effective fighter who found his unique style. Good for him. He's very dangerous, probably one of the hardest punchers ever.

I can't stand calling him the most athletic HW fighter ever though. I can't call him ATG at this point either. He hasn't accomplish anything relevant in comparison to the best ever. And no, he's not modern Bob Fitzsimmons.

Archie Moore was 147 years old when they fought.

But he was still elite fighter. He beat Valdes the same year.

Joe Louis fought his way into a title shot too. Doesn't mean that is the same guy who bulldozed Schmeling.

But Moore was damn good in 1955. He beat Valdes, Baker, Johnson, Maxim and Olson before Marciano fight. He was old, but some fighters were better when old. Archie is the perfect example, Fitzsimmons and Hopkins are another ones.

I admired Gene Fullmer as a man and as a fighter but he could win about as ugly as anyone I ever saw...
Not sure haw many would call him GREAT though.
