Flanagan is solid but he is soooo boring. I'd rather watch Hughie Fury dance.

Flanagan has been a world champion since 2015, had 6 world title fights and he is still unbeaten, I believe he is on the current longest unbeaten run in British boxing.

And hardly anybody outside hardcore British boxing fans know his name or his face.

That's actually tragic in my opinion, he should have signed with Hearn, he'd had made a mini fortune and had a far higher profile.

If I was Hearn and was in negotiations to sign any fighter and that fighter wanted to talk to other promoters I'd point straight at Flanagan and Crolla and compare the two for profile and money and I think I'd make my point.

to be fair Hearn and Crolla have been running more than Mo Farah from this fight.

Because he would lose whilst boosting the oppositions fighter and stable.

One is a world champion and much more talented yet nobody knows him, whilst the other is a lot, lot richer and more known despite his limited capabilities.

If I was Flanagan I’d offer to fight Crolla for free because the boost he’s going to receive from it is gona benefit so much more in the long run.

No Flanagan and Warren have unrealistic demands. They want 50/50 when Crolla is the A side. He is the draw here and World champion or not Flanagan shouldn't be getting a 50/50 split.

It's only a matter of time before his WBO belt becomes self-aware and starts sending out ransom notes. It's a job for possibly Liam Neeson, or Batman.

That would be a good point usually however Crolla has being saying all he wants is a world title... well there is his shot, he should take the hit if thats really the case. But we all know that it aint. The boxing fans have been wanting this fight for a while. If Crolla is looking for retirement money then this isnt the fight for him however he says he wants a world title so should be accepting Warrens demands.

Id only take a lower cut IF the fight was gonna be on Sky as thats where the exposure would be. Unless BT are willing are willing to stump a fair bit of cash to stick it on? I doubt the casuals would be aware enough of Flannigan for it to make business sense for them however?

You appear to have been brainwashed by fast Eddie...
Crolla-Burns sold about 11k in a 21k capacity arena...it's the same type of tickets sold or less for his other events in the arena- Crolla is not Ricky Hatton packing the arena out against WBU bums.

He would sell the arena out if he fought Flanagan that's he difference.

Terry has the belt, he's unbeaten as well.

Anthony Crolla has never been PPV and probably never will be.

It's should be a 50-50 split as it stands - IF Terry can't get Linaries they need each other.

it's not as simple as just saying join Eddie. Since frank got with BT 6 months ago, this has been the only time the 2 promoters have had fairly compariable tv backing. Let's see where there stables are in say 12 months - that would be fair to compare from then onwards.

Also, alot of it comes down to the fighters. Apart from Joshua I don't think there is anybody in Hearns stable who is better known then Billy Joe Saunders who was brought up solely on BN..

Your right about Crolla and Flanngan, but one is a fairly charismatic guy who popular with the football guys etc the other is a quiet guy with not a lot to say.

Facts are, things can change quickly in boxing. If Terry gets the Linaries fights and wins he's a big star..Crolla is left scrapping around with Burns/Campbell or Hearn might
get him a vacant WBA big deal..tables turned.

What about Issac Chamberlain..a talented fighter earning peanuts who can't even headline or get proper coverage on a NXTGEN show...probably because Hearn is holding him back so as not to upset his Olympian Okole. Issac would be big news if he was with frank and if you want any evidence that he's pissed off have a look at his personal twitter after last weeks fight.

As I said, each fighter is an individual case

Who gives a **** who is the A side here we should be expecting fights like Terry-Crolla. It's such an obvious fight. Defending the guise of 'business' is so ridiculous.

I didn't say I thought was simple, I was saying if I was Hearn I'd point at Flanagan as an example to others.

If I was a young fighter about to turn professional I wouldn't hesitate, I'd go with Hearn, it's a no brainier in my opinion.

Matchroom is now stretching out and getting involved in the US market, the exposure for some young fighters could be absolutely amazing.

Also If Hearn is good enough for the likes of Froch, Brook and now the biggest cash cow in boxing Joshua then why would I sign anywhere else?

If I could get myself on a Joshua bill I could be fighting in stadiums or I could sign with FW and get regular outings at the Copper Box.. Really?

Saunders is known for his mouth, IFL interviews and not his fights, who do you think has earned more money in the last couple of years? Brook or BJS? Crolla or BJS? Burns or BJS?

When was the last time BJS was in a major fight or a fight that people were interested in? Eubank Jr? That was because of Jr not BJS.

Has BJS been in a fight the level of Brook Vs Golovkin, Brook Vs Spence Jr, Crolla Vs Linares x2, Joshua Vs Klitschko since Jr?

I could ask casual boxing fans to name a Brook Crolla and Joshua opponent, they would probably name Golovkin, Linares, Klitschko.. do you think they could name a Flanagan opponent? Or a recent BJS opponent?

I'm not doubting Flanagans talent, I'm saying if he was with matchroom he would be a very wealthy man and have a far higher profile.

Camberlain would only be big news with FW because in my opinion they haven't got as much talent on that side.

Agreed. The fact that people know who Dave Allen or Sam Eggington are but won’t have heard of a unbeaten, world champion (Flanagan) says it all.
