It was pretty embarrassing to be honest, they used to do "Celebrity Boxing" on TV a few years ago but at least that was for charity.

I do give him respect for going into camp and stepping through the ropes but this should never have counted as a pro contest.

Eh? how the **** was Flintoff's score 39? do knockdowns not get scored 10-8's in a 4 rounder?

lol mad. Just looking at the rankings and one of the guys I stopped Arran Boyce has now went pro. Not blowing my own trumpet but I recon he'd stop Flintoff, although Flintoff is ranked higher.

they do but if the ref feels the other guy wins the round they can score it 10-9.

They were on two separate cards, so Flintoff didn't headline over Price. They headlined their respective cards. Flintoff had to go on last for his as otherwise the fans would of all ****ed off early

he looked out of shape and I don't mean out of shape he'll only throw 30 a round for 10 i mean out of shape he'll struggle with 20 a round over 4x2. if you'd been to a lot of amateur shows you'd have seen novices that unfit. might have been staged but I don't think it was.

i know  38-37 could have been believeable but the score was just daft lol... a draw would have been fair as well.

Don't think it was a fix, just think they're both terrible, no timing, no technique and the footwork of Bambi on ice. :patsch

Yeah take your point but it was 2 min rounds and this guy had fought twice before and it's not like Freddy was setting a fast pace there. He just came forward with flappy arms.

All that rushing adrenaline will have tired him out quickly... He's probably a better boxer than he showed last night, just tried too hard to impress :bbb:bbb

yeah know what u mean though thinking about it mate. wouldn't be at all suprised if it was a fix, coz they wouldn't have exactly been happy if freddie lost and they wouldn't have to pay a guy like that dawson much to lose on purpose so who knows.

give him a break he played cricket all his life. 6 months training and he had a fight.

flintoff is not exactly a fit bloke to start with

it was wat it was a man with 6 months behind him.

i know guys who have has loads of amatuer bouts and get ****ed every pro fight.

his punches wernt so slappy by the end and he shook off those bambi legs he had in the first two.
in fact after the knock down i thought he looked better imo

You're seriously willing to defend Freddie Flintoff and have a go at Audley Harrison in the same thread... I think the prize of Worst Poster on the Board goes to you.

    Tit.

(FWIW, I have a bit of respect for Flintoff as anyone willing to step in the ring is showing some amount of bravery... despite having zero boxing ability and knowing fine well his opponent wasn't going to try a leg and just collect his cheque).
