That would be a proper war.....Eddie put it on it as it will sell tickets & get people watching. Both would put their all in the fight there won’t be any tactics just war every round!!
I think Hearn would actually make this fight as it is a 50/50 fight there’s doubts about both guys and it would be a tear up. only issue is I think Marku sells good tickets and Hearn knows full well he could sell a bucket load on this show. Won’t want to make the fight and not see the financial benefit of it. wouldn’t surprise me if Hearn signs Marku. Both take couple of time ups to hype the fight. Fight on the undercard of a PPV towards end of the year and then the winner goes in against Kelly.
I think it's a great bit of 'area level' beef and lets face it Conor still needs to prove himself on the domestic scene but I think they are going the Yarde route of amassing a winning record and then throwing him in the deep end. Would love to see this fight though and from an entertainment perspective this is exactly what Marku should be doing.
Was hoping to see Benn stepped up against a Kelly or someone like that. Looks like Hearn has told this Marku to sell the idea of this fight with his twitter goading. I don’t rate Benn much at all but this looks like a step backwards in his progression. Let’s all be honest, if he couldn’t sell tickets this wouldn’t be entertained as a potential fight.
