This fight would sell less than Floyd-Guerrero.

Berto is fighting in July, so he won't be fighting Mayweather in September.

I agree it's the better fight, and presents the greatest danger for Floyd because of Alexander's speed, ability to box, and decent power.

SMFH...I don't understand how you can spend so much time here, and still know this little about boxing. It's mind boggling, seriously.

Devon is a good fighter. However, he has almost no chance of beating Mayweather.

Agreed - I thought so even when Mayweather first proposed this as a negotiating ploy.

It would still likely be boring, but at least Alexander has some speed and skill which could make it competitive - unlike Guerrero.

Ironically though, Alexander would probably be even harder to market then Guerrero and would probably bring in even less PPV buys. If the reports that Showtime lost money on the Guerrero fight are correct, it seriously limits the prospective opponents that Mayweather can choose from.

There nothing wrong with Floyd fighting a prime top 5 welterweight like Alexander or Bradley.

There are some haters who will complain no matter who he fights.

Thing is id rather Alexander beat Khan just so he looks like a beast so the fight would get a bit more hype
I like Alexander I like his style when hes not clinching i dont mind this fight too much, he will give Floyd a few problems but not alot
