Doesn't matter that he did. Larry is a POS and has been disrespectful to a lot of guys not just PBF.:deal He disrespected Hopkins and RJJ it's more than PBF as to the reason why I don't like him.

As a fan of Floyd, let me just say that I could care less either way. They can be nice to each other or they can hate each other. Makes no difference to me. Leave that crap to TMZ to debate about. The fights are all that's important.

This thread is dumb. Even by caneman standards, it is dumb.

Seriously, you're a (allegedly) grown arse man with (allegedly) a college education. Even 6 year olds understand how/why apologies are used for peace keeping purposes.

You hate Mayweather, we all get that. But must you play yourself out in the process?

    Sad indeed. :verysad

I am not a fan of his even tho I respect him like I ought to but this is all about Larry being an icon and HBO and Money's Team gat to work together to bring money like that to the table so either part shuts up.

If you read the thread, I actually praise Floyd for his classy act. The thread is about the Floyd fan reaction. It seems most neutral fans who saw the move by Floyd thought it was very classy. But it seems no other Floyd fan sees it that way. Strange, because they usually mirror everything Floyd says. But Floyd did a 180 in this case and admitted wrongdoing. But now, are there any Floyd fans who will agree with Floyd after he changed his mind on the issue?

I think it's a Floyd fan dillemma: To follow Floyd or not to follow.

Can the Floyd fan admit Floyd was wrong, as Floyd himself has admitted relating to the post Mayweather-Ortiz fight interview?

Are Floyd fans man enough like Floyd to admit it?

Floyd admitted he was wrong. Can you admit he was wrong?

That's what this thread is about. Does't matter what they did in the past or what Merchant has done to others in the past.

I agree completely. Very classy act. Floyd surprised me on many levels that night.

But it's strange how his fans here on ESB don't share that same sentiment.

It's like Floyd betrayed them by doing something that is very

That response is typical of someone who is very uncomfortable in answering a question. The type that hides behind a curtain of toughness to cover insecurities.

Tell us why it makes you uncomfortable.

    Please do share.

Floyd is just a classier dude than Merchant is. Merchant doesn't like slick boxer types, and he's an old stubborn hack on top of that.

Floyd fans, I'm starting to get a feel of why you may not have cared for Floyd's apology to Larry Merchant.

Was it because it betrayed Floyd's

    G - ness?

I'm willing to bet that is the issue.

Bballchump11, does Floyd apologizing to Larry Merchant shame you as a fan to the point Floyd must move down your G-list?

    :think

You could have said that the first time. It wasn't that hard, wasn't it?
