How the **** did you correct me you Chia pet? Everything was said and is documented that IsaL posted, you can continue to cry about it all you want, but you're a miserable **** who cant have a reasonable debate to save your life..so I'm adding your jerk face to the ignore list! Have a good time trying to get my attention lard ass!!!
How about I give you a source to a more recent and larger offer for an 8 figure payday at 160. That's the one the counts now. 155 and 8 mil is in the past. Lets focus on the now, especially when the now has a much better offer for Ggg who still declined.
You said what isal posted was correct. You dumbf*cks keep trying to act like 3g said he'd beat everyone from 154 to 175. He never said that. Do you need a map drawn for you to figure out? I can use crayons and finger paint if that's more your medium.
So no source then, good to know. BTW, I admit that GGG should take 15 mill, but you should admit Canelo vacating his title had nothing to do with weight, as he said himself.
Indeed, Canelos offers afterwards are more or less redeeming (to me at least, I know others disagree with me and think the offers are BS. I don't necessarily agree, I think 15 million is more than fair.) But it doesn't change that it was the most cringeworthy thing I have seen in boxing in a long time. Thats just the way it is... but Canelo has since persued the fight seemingly in earnest and thats awesome. I dont think I go out of my way to **** on Canelo, I think I take it on a case by case basis.... by the next time he fights he will have had ONE top teir fight (Cotto) in THREE YEARS, meanwhile being in his prime and almost a perpetual champion. Three years! In his prime... and how many fights under his belt now? And this is all the while being far and away (well... supposedly) the biggest name even close to his weights (besides Pac) and could literally, literally, fight anyone in the world. I give credit and criticism where its due. I have felt Canelos ability has always been overrated, his wins overrated, and his recent string of opponents unbecoming of his p4p status and star power. I give him massive props for actually fighting lara n trout when he did, but how long can someone coast on that? Its just the way I see it I dont know what else to say. I think he has definitely grown into a very good fighter though, but now that I think hes actually becoming close to the fighter his fans think he is, hes fighting 2nd (khan, smith) and 3rd tier (Kirkland) competition. So I call it how I see it. And, before you bring up Golovkin, dont. Like I said, what G does or doesn't do isnt what defines what should or shouldn't be acceptable. Not to mention his position and Canelos are not comparable. (Though I agree, G not taking this recent offer is making me wonder whats going on... if the fight doesn't get made at this point, I will view it as Gs fault) For all I know, they are still negotiating this most recent offer... if team G doesn't accept it and the fight really does fall through (i think it will happen to be honest) than its a huge, huge knock on G in my humble opinion. But we aren't there yet. And hopefully never get there, I hope and think it happens late 17'
If GBP is serious, they'll offer that 15 mill after the Jacobs fight. Loeffler said he doesn't enter new negotations until the fight is done. We'll see in a few months how serious GBP is.
That's why I'm not in rush to knock either side yet(for possible fight on next september, I did consider it a duck when Canelo vacated his title and announced the fight wasn't going to happen until fall of 2017), there is still plenty time to negotiate. But if the fight doesn't get made for this september because team GGG didn't want any flat fee, I can't blame his critics for saying that he priced himself out.
I honestly do not understand how people can respond seriously to the guy. Isal clearly has some deep psychological issues at play that prohibit his ability to think rationally.
I would hope so Kirk, you've been a hardcore boxing fan for half of your life. You know very well a fighter as unpopular as Golovkin has NEVER made close to 10 million let alone 15 million. His last HBO fight only generated a mere 800K viewers. That is extremely little pull for a fighter trying to get more than 15 million dollars. Kirk, did you expect Canelo the biggest face in boxing to just bend over for one of the most corrupt institutions in boxing in the WBC? You are totally acting as if Canelo did not start sending Golovkin offers, offers that Ggg has declined, offers that are 3-6 times the amount he usually earns. You can call it cringe worthy as much as you want, but boxing as a whole disagrees. Canelo is still the biggest PPV draw, HBO draw, and Live-gate draw, and that's without speaking english. I find it more hypocritical and damaging to once character the way Ggg jumped on the opportunity to trash Canelo, and trash Boxing for allowing Canelo-Khan, only to turn around and do WORSE by bringing up a Welter Weight two divisions with no CW. He just fought and destroyed a top JrMW titlist in Liam Smith. Is he the best of the bunch, probably not, but he isn't a push over. He was an undefeated world champion, perhaps even better than Lemieux whose chin had already be cracked by an aging Rubio, and then outboxed by another journeyman. Canelo just fought Miguel Cotto last year, and it is rumored that he may fight Saunders, or Chavez Jr. That is more than most top fighters including Ggg have done. So yes, I think you're being unfairly critical about Canelo when Golovkin has a much worse track record when it comes to making meaningful fights. You're not being fair, and quite honestly I feel you lose credibility with your above post. Show me another fighter between 147-168 who has fought the level of opposition Canelo has? Not your boy Ggg, not anyone at 160, not the Charlo bros, not Andrade, not Brook, not Porter or Thurman. While they are the top fighters, none of them have fought each other. Canelo was the only one to fight Lara, Trout, Cotto, and a couple of top contenders in Kirkland, Angulo, and most recently a world champion in Smith. You call Kirkland 3rd tier because he's lost once in a bizzare fight against Ishida? 3rd tier are reserved for the Rubio's, the Wade's, the Monroe's, the rype of fighters Ggg isn't shy about fighting. LOL.. So basically you're saying, "Let me criticize Canelo for not fighting Ggg, but please do not be critical of Ggg"? Hahaha.. As if Ggg has nothing to do with the fight not being made? As if Ggg has not rejected three reasonable, three really great offers, or in your words "more than fair"..!, lets criticize Canelo for his resume, but lets not bring up Ggg's.. Come on Kirk, you know this is all about Ggg-Canelo. You cannot be critical of Canelo and yet prtend in your mind that Ggg isn't MILKING his fans. According to many Ggg experts and fanatics in this site, Loeffler does not negotiate for fights when one is already lined up.. Again, according to the Ggg fanatics and experts. I personally feel the fight will get made, and both sides are in cahoots as far as delaying the fight using the Pac-May blueprint.
Isal I could slice and dice your post... its riddled with flaws (imo) but Im not sure theres much of a point to. For example, you thinking Kirkland at this point is not a 3rd tier fighter. That is simply bizarre. He is unequivocally third tier (at best), and I am (was I should say) a huge Kirkland fan. Your post is filled with things like that... if I get time later Ill respond appropriately. But just for starters... trying to say that James Kirkland is a second tier fighter at this point is just... how do I respond to that? You are obviously trying to up Kirklands current legitimacy so it reflects better on Canelo. You do that sort of stuff left and right. How do I respond to someone that flat out ignores the fact that by the time Canelo fights another A level fighter it will be a THREE YEAR gap by then, barring one fight. How do I respond to someone that cant see the incomparable contexts between Gs resume and Canelos? And WHY its that way? How do I respond to someone who wants to deflect every single Canelo flaw by saying' well Golovkin did this!' As if it justifies Canelos actions? I am absolutely not trying to be rude to you (trust me I am rude to plenty of people on here im not shy about it) but to me you seem to still get stuck being fan of a fighter and becoming biased for them... becoming unwilling or unable to see things reasonably due to some fanship allegiance to certain fighters. Its like you are incapable of being critical of them. You did it with oscar and you are doing it with Canelo. But Ill be damned if Oscar would ever go three prime years while fighting *'one*' A level fighter. But give me a few hours when i get back on ill have a proper response. I do agree with you that I too think they have a behind-the-scenes agreement that the fight will take place. Out of curiosity Isal who do you have winning the fight? Is without a doubt my most anticipated fight in boxing.
Kirkland has NOT given me any reason to think he is third tier. He has two losses, and that is all. One by a fighter fighting at HW at the present moment, in a very bizarre fight, and the 2nd to an elite P4P fighter in Canelo. Third tier would be fighters like Rubio who losing to journeymen is not suprising or uncommon. But we can remove Kirkland from the list, and Canelo's resume and accolades are still greater than Golovkin's.
Canelo is a fraud, anyone with 2 eyes can see it, he's the only fighter out there not protecting his '0' but protecting his '1', it's rather amusing This guy creates his own weight classes and afraid to fight in established boxing divisions, I've never seen such cowardice. Apparently he's the lineal and Ring middleweight champ who just won a belt at 154 and now will be fighting at super-middleweight! While keeping all his belts, how's that possible? Copperboy promotions at its finest.
