If you only watched his fight against GGG, then maybe. But still, he is proven to be much better than Liam Smith and Kirkland. Your last paragraph is just beyond idiotic. Kirkland got KOd by a journeyman at his peak, Lemieux got KOd by a contender at the prospect stage of his career.

Rubio that GGG fought is on Kirkland's level. That's a much better comprasion.

 

The guy who you call a shot journeyman is much better than anyone Smit beat. His only notable win to date is John Thompson, who's not a top25 guy at 154 or 160 who wouldn't make it to top5 wins of Lemieux. Your assesments make it very clear than you've never seen Smith fight before his fight with Canelo and you're just talking out of your ass.

 

And you claim Kirkland who was coming off of an 18 months lay off who spent his entire training camp cutting weight is a top level win. That's all we have to know about your boxing knowledge and insanity of your fanboyism.

 

You know Isal never heard of Paul Smith prior to facing canelo. This will give you an even better idea of where Isal comes from. He's rarely seen an Erislandy fight. His words, not mine.

Kirkland has been KO twice, once a by someone who had no business KO a fighter like Kirkland and once by an elite fighter. Outside of that he has beat better quality opponents than Lemieux has.

Lemieux has been KO twice. Once by an old shot, smaller Marco Antonio Rubio, and once by an elite fighter. Unlike Kirkland Lemieux has also been outboxed easily by a journeyman and has faced a lower level of fighters than Kirkland.

If we're honest with ourselves we will admit that Kirkland has the better resume, and that there are questions that still need to be answered as far as his fighting age.

Lemieux, we know everything there is to know. He can beat the C and B levels, but he can also get KO or outboxed by them.

You guys really need to watch more Kirkland and Lemieux fights.
