    I do think Mayweather could beat Cotto.

    The thing about Cotto is that he doesn't have a reach advantage on Mayweather. Couple that with the fact he needs to have his feet planted to do damage and you see a thing going here.

    I'm not as sold on Mayweather ducking Cotto as I am on Mayweather ducking previous opponents. I think he *may* fight Cotto if Cotto looks great against Margarito. Although if I had to take a wild guess I think Mayweather knows Cotto is in for a rough night against Margarito.
