Floyd was not arrogant at all.

Mosley was. He said he would win.

When you overestimate your ability it means you are arrogant.

I can't stand Floyd.... but he's definitely the best out there. He backed all that bull**** talk up and schooled Mosley.
Came back from two big right hands, adjusted and stood toe to toe. Can't ask for more.

I dont mean backing it up by winning, I figured he should win by decision but he nearly got the stoppage last night and showed himself a class above a perceived elite fighter at his own weight class. Usually he would talk about punishing his opponents, but last night he actually did punish Shane.

Last night showed his power was underrated, speed was underrated(made Mosley look slow), strength was underrated, and his guts underrated. Its true, the man gets on his bike because its easier for him and he sees no reason to take punishment when he doesn't need to, but push come to shove, the man can stand there in center of the ring and make you look stupid too.

One of the most complete fighters I have ever seen. More complete than Whitaker in that this man also has power and strength.

Co-sign, both these. Floyd was mother ****in' bad ass last night, AND we got to see him finally have to really dig deep and get out of round 2, cause Shane don't bull ****, but PBF not only lasted bein' visibly hurt (legs bucklin' and ****)...he came out for round 3 chargin' at the Sugar man...and that takes serious balls main.:yep

It was not a pretty fight but surprisingly not because of PBF, Mosely was the one who stunk it out..

Mayweather, did what he said he would do and he gets much props for that.

If this Mayweather showed up for the remainder of his fights I would be
    back on the bandwagon.

Floyd KO Pac 10. Oh yeah. Floyd fought like he was the predator and Shane was the prey. Shane looking scared shitless did not help out much either. Shane looked genuinely terrified when Floyd started to come after him at the end of round 2 and round 3. I thought Floyd was making a mistake but shittttttttt. Best there is and he earned that paycheck that night.

Floyd answered my biggest question last night. I wondered whether his notoriously bad hands would hold up while delivering hard enough shots to get a solid welterweight's respect. Last night proved to me that his power at 147 can't be taken lightly. I was impressed by how well he handled Mosley's second round assault. He gathered himself up and came out strong for the third instead of resorting to pure defense. Even more impressive was how close he was to stopping Shane in the later rounds.

Mosley, on the other hand, looked out of his element from the very first round. He seemed so worried about getting countered that he was throwing jabs and falling all over himself trying to duck anticipated incoming fire. His footwork and movement was what I described as "body stuttering." After the second round he looked like he had blown his whole wad and was already breathing heavily. I expected Mosley would tire by the eighth round, but was shocked to see him looking gassed so early. I don't think the Mosley that was in the ring last night would even beat Berto.

I always have thought that Floyd is one of the hardest fighters to beat, after his performance against Sugar it was more clear to me why that will remain a hard task

Floyd is one hell of a deceiver !! Rememeber in his fight with Hatton no one thought he could KO him and look ..Floyd is smart he never lets out all of his bag of tricks ..I hope he fights Martinez at 154 because Manny has no shot at him !
