I Strongly disagree, First of all PBF is fast, anyone saying DLH is on his level is full of it, That being said The 2 fastest guys of the last 15 yrs have have been peak versions of RJJ and SSM, Mosley's handspeed was unreal before he moved up to 154. IMO Mosley's hands were just as quick as RJJ.
agreed, i thought i was the only one on this board that recognized that. brilliant tactician, but his ability is frequently overrated.
That is what makes him who he is, that and his footspeed wich I think is better than his hand speed. It isn't like Pac is some technical marval.
at 135 he was fast as hell at 147 not that impressive but his accuracy damn it one of the best of this era
as fighters go up in weight, naturally hand speed would go down. simple case of physics. in the lower weights, fighters naturally would seem to be faster in the case of pbf, 130-135 range. in his fight against dlh, he was clearly not that fast. the two fights of ssm vs dlh would show you what handspeed is all about although i think the second fight should have gone to oscar. pac has one of the fastest hands right now. and to deny it would simply be idiotic. check out the first mab-pac fight when mab was trying to corner pac. pac threw a 4 punch combo to the bod which sent mab back tracking. didn't see its impact at first but when showed in slow-mo, it was really a marvel to look at. it was like what ssm was doing potshotting dlh in their first fight. rjj at one time had one of the fastest hands compared to the fighters he fought since he fought in the higher weights. for me ssm is probably the fastest i have seen in terms of consistency throughout the fight. dlh, rjj, pbf and pac are a notch below him.
Floyd is the best fighter of his era, but not the fastest. At 130, he was one of the fastest. At 147, he's very quick, but there are faster fighters than him.
Pac didn't seem fast to me at 147. I think the fact that DLH was so slow made Pac look so quick. He seemed a step slower than usual to me.
:rofl Only *******s put an explanation point on their threads by saying, "You got owned" or some cocky emoticon. For what its worth, I found it funny.
