Thats about all he has done, as far as securing legacy ****, the mother ****er still has yet to do that. he will never go down in the books on the same page with hagler Leonard and Hearns NEVER.
if floyd cleared out the division he would be god of boxing... his current status he is already top 20-30 of all time... leave the man alone
Honestly though, if you were Floyd would you really care? You're a millionaire, still young, in great shape, well known, and you get to travel the world and relax for the rest of your life.
Would somebody please just change the name of this site to, EASTSIDE BOXING HATES FLOYD MAYWEATHER.COM
and is your boy clearing out 175 before he retires? why no bad taste there? I wonder? can you explain in rational terms, this contradiction.
Calzaghe hasn't been in "semi-retirement" and keeping everybody waiting for the past God knows how long He made his intentions clear, a couple of fights and he's gone. There are no huge standout fights for Calzaghe either. There are no Cotto's at LHW.
No. Maybe for him, but for me...I have PRIDE & it would eat away at me if I ever ducked anyone who had a good chance to beat my ass & I didn't live up to the challange. Now I dare ANYONE to dispute that ****in post! Thank You.
So if you were Floyd, you would fight Tommy Hearns if he was still around, then you could start talking like mush mouth cuz of your pride.
Don't follow what your saying, asking or telling me.:huh Don't get into hypothetical BS. We're talking reality here. PBF should fight the winner of Cotto/Margarito This content is protected This content is protected
Like anyone else should be able to, Floyd can do and say what he wants. However, his actions (or lack of them) mean that he will probably not receive the overwhelming support regarding his opinions of himself that he seems to desire from boxing fans or the general public. He was clearly an extremely talented boxer, but his lack of respect for others, obsession with money and himself have let him down. Does that matter? Not really, but that's up to him, I know that I would have no time for someone like that in any walk of life, nevermind boxing, so I have formed my opinions of him in the same way that I would any other person and I will not defend him just because he happened to take part in my favourite sport.
The undisputed champion at 147 was Baldomir, Floyd took him out and wasn't considered the best man in the division for nothing. As far as fighting the rest of the champion, Cotto is the only one worth mentioning.
