What the hell else could he do? What are his options?

-- Collazo - Good comp, but lost to Berto and Mosley.
    -- Williams - Just KTFO
    -- Cotto - Arum
-- Clottey - Nobody would pay to see it and Arum
    -- Zaveck - Maybe, but a lose/lose situation
    -- Senchenko - Maybe, but a lose/lose situation
    -- Angulo - Clinic
    -- Cintron - Clinic

There are just no fights for him. This fight is decent, but it was better 10 years ago.

If Ortiz beats Berto, then he can fight him for a tune-up, but they can't wait around and count on Ortiz winning especially when he's the underdog

Oh god, the Floyd fanatic "You never boxed" bull****... :patsch
Why don't you explain WHY I am wrong there.

Do YOU believe Floyd needs a tune up before every southpaw? Is that what you are arguing against?

His last tune up was against a p4p top 5 and Manny's toughest recent opponent... I don't think the haters think Mayweather deserves tune ups!

ALL of those guys on that list are better matchups than Spaddy. I have a feeling it may be Angulo, I had a dream about 4 months ago he was fighting Angulo

He isn't. He is just neutral. Also, for the hard core boxing fan, he was known to have given Mayweather fits in sparring. Spadafora is a good fighter with no glaring discrepancies.

Berto/Ortiz winner? Decent matchup, but would literally sink GBPs future at WW. They don't have the depth at the weight to sacrifice their new cash cows to old unpredictable superstars. Didn't I say this fight was interesting 10 years ago?

Well for one Southpaws require a completely different strategy and game plan than orthodox fighters
When you jab them, you need to get the right angles on them now and focus on keeping your left foot outside of their right foot.
Also the punches are coming from a different angle and Floyd's normal counters won't work as well (pull-counter)
Also Floyd is used to walking down southpaws with a high guard, but against Manny, that may not be the best strategy so he may won't to test out a different gameplan on Paul before he gets to Manny or maybe he will try to walk Manny down and just wants more experience against southpaws before he does it :good

Wow. Wou are wrong and don't even know you are wrong.

See that is the difference between being ignorant and being a fool. An ignorant person just doesn't know. A fool doesn't know, is proud they don't know, and defends their ignorance.

Lance... You are a fool. :deal

Come on man. You know those matchups can't be made. I even listed why next to them.
