Floyd Finaly Said Something Original, Aimed At Hatton, And its....

I don't really dislike Mayweather even though I hope Hatton smashes him to pieces.

You have to give the guy credit, he's certainly doing his job of promoting this fight. It's all just words and I wouldn't be surprised to see both men give eachother respect after the fight whatever the outcome.

 

Now I hope that Ricky will beat his ass even more.

 

yep,he does do a great promotion job.seems to do it single handedly too.at least verbally.another way to promote a fight is to be exciting in a prior bout.hattons done it fistically,floyds doing it verbally.its a good recipe.

I dont know if its different in America but no one i know would get insulted by someone saying their going stab the shitter, it's to old of a saying now it's boring, you'd be insulted if they said i hope your mum dies of cancer or something along those lines.

Hatton was in a plethera of boring fights recently. The Castillo fight was a boring hold-a-thon until the shot he landed. Nobody thought that fight was exciting. Just holding.

 

How can it be an anything-a-thon, it only went 3 and half rounds...and they were pretty decent rounds as well.

 

I watched the fight and there were so many clinches in those 3 rounds that it seemed to go longer then it did. If I am wrong, why did the ref step in countless times and warn both fighters about the holding and the commentators argued amongst each other about who was instigating the constant holding. You guys play mind games like these fights happend in the UK and were not televised. Same crap with the infamous Miranda/Burger King fight. I took people on ESB's word for that fight and when I seen the fight it was the exact opposite of what was said.

 

Just how many is 'countless' to you? He may have done it a couple of times but not that many.

 

I read the latest issue of Boxing Monthly last night and Ricky was talking about Floyd saying 'I'm gonna **** your ass boy' and other smack...Ricky asked him straight out 'Are you *** or what?'
