Pac couldnt knock out Marquez either.
    As a matter of fact,
he wont fight Marquez who is more than deserving and should have gotten the nod in both of their fights.

There is no one more annoyed then me that this fight will never happen. I am sick to death of these threads. I agree with most of what the author topic is saying. Floyd is not the Nevada Commission and should never dictate the terms of a fight (especially with regarding drug testing). I do think Olympic style drug testing is a must in a sport you can get killed and is one of the most dangerous sports you can partake in but until it is implememted across the sport Floyd should fight within the existing rules. He doesn't. Why because he is a business man. Make as much money without the risk. he doesnt care if he is not remembered as the greatest. What made the 80's so great is that the mega stars at the time all wanted to fight each other. People like Hagler/Duran/Leonard/Hearns needed to know that they were the best. Floyd doesn't think like that. As soon as there was a chance the fight could be made Floyd changes the rules and these drug allegations which have no base whatsoever have had a bad impact on Manny's name (the amount of idiots on here thinking Pacquaio has taken drugs on basless claims, just a forum full of ******s that know nothing about boxing) and the fight has moved further and further away.

Sadly Shane Mosley agreed to Floyd's demands in Exchange for a big payday. Now Floyd can say Mosley agreed why can't Pacquaio. I don't believe Floyd has ever wanted to fight Manny, even though I believe he would win and win quite well. I don't get why people are still so mad at this though. After the Marquez fight Floyd clearly stated unless Pacquaio agreed to full testing with no cutoff point that this fight would not go ahead. I can't see anywhere where Manny has agreed with this. I have seen 14 days but not the whole way through, so Floyd's stance has not changed. Therefore no fight. All the crap with Arum and negotiating is just crap. Mayweather wont be negotiated with unless he is calling the shots. Right now Pacquaio needs him more then Mayweather needs Pacquaio.

Bottom line the ONLY way this fight will be made is if Floyd gets 60/40 and drug testing without cutoff points. This is what Floyd believes he is entitled too and no amount of negative press will sway him on this. Pacquaio's team have ego's just as big as Floyd's team and will not bow to these demands because they believe there man is P4P number 1 and that Mayweather shouldn't dictate the terms of a fight when it comes to testing. I wouldn't budge if I am Pacquaio either. Anyone with a boxing brain knows Mayweather does not want this fight. He is a great fighter but no champion. A champion takes on all comers and needs to know he is the best. Mayweather believes he is the best but is just not willing to prove it.

This fight will never happen, I knew it January this year. I think there is blame on both sides (more Mayweathers in my opinion) but why still all the stupid threads!? Nothing has changed since January and nothing ever will. Boxing needs to move on and learn from this so that it never happens again. Boxing is bigger then Mayweather and Pacquaio.

you see this is the kind of idiot I am taking about on this forum. HELLO ******! The Mayweathers are NOT the Nevada state commission. Yes by all means lobby for OSDT but they have no right to insist on it. If I am Pacquaio and I am clean no way I bow to this guys demands. Grow a pair of fcuking balls and fight. Give the fans what they want. Floyd doesnt care about the fans. Lets get OSDT implemented for all big Vegas fights as a start. If those are the rules Manny will agree..They are not the rules so whty should he be dictated too?

The funny thing is all Pac haters conveniently ignore the fact that he has improved so much in his last 5 fights and added so many different aspects to his game. He has become the complete fighter and adding the weight has helped his balance, coordination, strength while maintaining his speed and even making it seem blinding to the heavier opponents.
NOBODY mentions that. His footwork is better and he throws more punches form different angles. While JMM who yes he is a warrior is not on the same level when going up in weight and would get KTFO by the improved Manny who wears 147 twice as good as any other lower weight.

Manny is known as one of the harder working fighters and you have to be nuts to not see all the little things Pac has incorporated into his game over the last 4 years. He has worked for his skills and his legacy and earned it by never being afraid to lose as every loss has only improved his career in the long run. Floyd has only diminished his skills as he has never had enough tests and the Mosley fight only proved that further.

Floyd maybe the biggest draw in America but worldwide and especially after what has transpired recently Manny is both the P4P champ and the most popular boxer around the World hands down. There is no denying that Floyd becomes more popular day by day.

Floyd is on the downswing he has nothing new to add to his game and if anything has lost a step or two. We are at the point where there is irrefutable evidence that Mayweather will never face the toughest and especially not at they're peak. He gets away with outboxing fighters who are older and slower and the pathetic PBF fans are like brainwashed Taliban except not by extremists but by HBO. Just accept the fact the Mayweather bubble has popped and now we have seen what he really is.

I would rather follow a fighter who half the world thinks maybe on steroids but ignores his work ethic over the last 15 years then follow a fighter who half the world calls a coward. You can take a test to prove you are not on steroids but you can only do one thing if you are Floyd to prove you are not a coward and that is fight Manny. Manny will take the test and Floyd will never. You are left with an overrated coward who only will fight one way - his way. (sucks to be a floyd fan in 2010).

weird, 150 is not a weight class limit...but thats ok for a vacant 154 title...hypocrite much?

edit: oh, and by the way, since it is obviously something that is negotiable (see: may/mosley) then it is in ANY fighter's right to insist on testing if they so desire

If Pacquiao agrees to be adequately blood tested, we have a fight on our hands.
