It just means Ortiz is available for Pac. If Pac moves to 140 we should get Pac-JMM. If he stays at 147 the fight that makes most sense is Pac-Ortiz. That's unlikely to happen in November as Arum stated he wants to see Ortiz defend his title 2 more times before he considers hooking Vic up with Pac. That's ridiculous considering how easy it was for Margarito and Clottey to get a shot at Pac. Once gain, Arum is sounding like a man talking with his anal cavity. Nothing new or surprising about that, folks. As for Floyd, well...Floyd is Floyd. If it makes you happy calling him a coward then so be it. I couldn't care less about what he does with his life. Boxing is doing just fine without him.
What kind of fighter he is to have a moment in his life when he can be involved in one of the biggest fights ever (with the biggest money ever) and he just ignores is. I really don't understand. He is either totally idiot or simply a coward. I used to respect him, but it's over now and also pretty obvious it was never about drug-testing nor about money. :-?
agree about clottey but not margo, dude already has a big name and had already won titles. Ortiz just recently got his 1st title. The best option for pac is bradley! not old man marquez, and certainly not mental zab but young and hungry desert storm timothy:deal
Good, now Ortiz could get in line as a potential Pac opponent. We just have to wait for his contract with GBP to expire lol
The thing is Marg was coming off a suspension. They gave him one tune up fight and he went straight to Pacquiao. Doesn't make sense to me, especially when he's not even the best Mexican fighter available for Pac at the time. Bradley should be last option only because he's not a big name and Team Pac would make him blow up to 147 which he has no business being in that class. If not Ortiz then it's gotta be Marquez because of his history with Pac and as old as JMM is, he isn't going to run like Mosley did. Plus, Marquez is coming off a hot win. No other fighter deserves a shot more than JMM right now. Let him have it.
They were gunning for a fraud of a title and he was I hate to admit it, the best mexican at light middleweight they could find but I agree with the coming off a suspension he didn't deserve that fight but just for the record he was the best at mexican at 154 because there really aren't any good mexicans at that weight class. Kinda like an insult if he was the best mexican there lol Bradley is a bigger name than ortiz and more importantly he is undefeated and unlike ortiz who is tailor made for pac(mexican style, same old..same old). Marquez is also good but I think he is already old, the katsidis fight don't fool me. I know who the **** and what the **** katsidis is so that fight he struggled with that don't fool me. But if he does fight pac then I'm half ok with it. And Bradley ain't blowing up just by going 7 lbs, I don't believe that just as how I always dismiss when people say hatton blew up to fight floyd, really tim might even weigh the same or more than what pac weighs on fight night
It was more like the ******* nation spreading the news. Victors manager or someone else said they were rumors as well.
Well he's been saying since May last year, since after the Mosley fight that he wasn't going to fight for 1 or 2 years. No surprise to me
There you have it ladies, Floyd aint no fighting no more. lol OK, Pac-Ortiz, anyone? no one? Pac-Bradley then.
"I'm not fighting anybody" *****s has another one year until May 2012 to stick to their idol and hero, Floyd Jr. :rofl
